Using GIMP

Hey all! I just recently discovered a program that I feel would be extremely beneficial for other authors to use as well. The program is free for download. It's called GIMP, and it's a great photoshop type of program that has more than enough features for you to personalize in order to assist you in the best way possible of creating a book cover that comes out looking really good. Right now, I am in the process of researching material and learning how to use GIMP, and it is keeping me super busy!  I'm volunteering at Cmoe until they have an open position that I hopefully get. I got a new boyfriend, which is also taking up some of my time as well...but that's fine :) He's worth it for sure! So, yeah, check out the program if you are interested...I will try and get the research and all done quickly, but since the subjects that I am studying are so in depth and broad, I can't promise anything :( Perhaps a few chapters here and there or a couple of poems on here, but that's all. Either way, I certainly have not forgotten about you all and I hope your holidays were awesome!
